California High School Volleyball - Providence edged by Channel Islands
March 3, 2018: Burbank, CA 91505 The Channel Islands Raiders held off the host Providence Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Raiders now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league test on Saturday, March 3. Channel Islands will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Centennial (Corona, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Providence moves to 1-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA) to face the Valiants in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 6. The Valiants go into the contest with a record of 0-2. St. Genevieve lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
