January 21, 2017: Stamford, CT 06902 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ossining (Ossining, NY) and the host Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), saw Ossining's basketball squad wallop Stamford by a tally of 83-58.
With the victory, Ossining improves its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The travel to Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY) to play the Huskers in a Section 1 Conference 1C challenge on Tuesday, January 24. The Huskers come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Yorktown lost 48-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Hendrick Hudson (Montrose, NY)
Next up, the Black Knights play the Greenwich Cardinals (Greenwich, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Stamford will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 52-42 league loss to Staples (Westport, CT).
