Indiana High School Basketball - Floyd Central can't hold off Bishop Chatard
December 27, 2012: Indianapolis, IN 46220 The Bishop Chatard Trojans basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders to 43 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 2. Bishop Chatard will meet a Golden Knights team coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Elkhart Central (Elkhart, IN). The Golden Knights record now stands at 3-4.
The Highlanders (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Corydon Central (Corydon, IN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Corydon Central was nudged by Perry Central (Leopold, IN), 61-57, in a non-league bout.
