California High School Volleyball - Wilson tips Bishop O'Dowd
September 25, 2010: Oakland, CA 94605 Wilson Bruins (Long Beach, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bruins battle the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 25. Wilson will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 7-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Green Valley (Henderson, NV).
The Dragons (5-6) will now prepare for their game against St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA). The Regents enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, St. Lucy's was nudged by Assumption (Louisville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
