In Saturday's non-league test, the host St. Ignatius Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 victory over the Granite Bay Grizzlies.

The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burlingame for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 9.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Justin-Siena Braves (Napa, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 26. Granite Bay will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 17-2 non-league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA).
