August 29, 2008: Marion, KY 42064 In Friday's non-league match, the host Crittenden County Rockets football squad scored a big 54-21 victory over the Lake County Falcons.
In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Lone Oak Purple Flash (Paducah, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 5. Crittenden County will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Purple Flash enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 48-14 non-league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY).
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Union City (Union City, TN). The Golden Tornadoes enter the 1A Region 7 bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Union City was crushed by Westview (Martin, TN), 27-14, in a non-league bout.
