The La Porte Bulldogs basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Cy-Woods Wildcats to 34 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dickinson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 7. La Porte will meet a Gators team coming off a 91-63 non-league loss to Wheatley (Houston, TX). The Gators record now stands at 3-5.

The Wildcats (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Cinco Ranch (Katy, TX). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Cinco Ranch was routed by Waltrip (Houston, TX), 61-47, in a non-league contest.
