October 28, 2016: New Bedford, MA 02740 In Friday's non-league game, the Plymouth North Eagles (Plymouth, MA) football team were victorious over the host New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA), by a score of 43-20.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Barnstable (Hyannis, MA). The Red Raiders come into the non-league game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Barnstable knocked off Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA), 38-18, in a non-league game.
The Whalers now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quincy for a non-league game on Friday, November 4. New Bedford will meet a Presidents team coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to Sandwich (East Sandwich, MA). The Presidents record now stands at 0-8.
