Texas High School Basketball - DeSoto overwhelms Plano East
December 29, 2014: Plano, TX 75074 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the DeSoto Eagles (De Soto, TX) and the host Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX), saw DeSoto's basketball squad wallop Plano East by a tally of 86-51.
With the victory, DeSoto improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Parkview (Little Rock, AR) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 30. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Parkview won 61-44 in their recent non-league challenge against North Crowley (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX) in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 2. Plano East will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record.
