February 9, 2012: Lincoln, NE 68510 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) and the visiting Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE), saw Pius X's basketball squad hold off Lincoln Southeast by a score of 66-61.
With the victory, Pius X improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE) to battle the SkyHawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 11. The SkyHawks come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Skutt Catholic won 65-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA)
Next up, the Knights battle the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Lincoln Southeast will attempt to improve on its 13-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 50-39 non-league win over Fremont (Fremont, NE).
