Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) and the visiting Tri Titans (Straughn, IN), saw Cowan's basketball squad knock off Tri by a score of 56-48.

With the victory, Cowan improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to Sheridan (Sheridan, IN) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 22. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Sheridan lost 71-61 in their recent league challenge against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN)

Next up, the Titans battle the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) in a Tri-Eastern test, on Saturday, December 19. Tri will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Indians go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 62-40 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).
