The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) and the visiting Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), observed Miller County's football squad bounce Randolph-Clay by a count of 82-22.

The Pirates now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham for a A Region 1 contest on Friday, September 21. Miller County will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 65-0 league win over Terrell County (Dawson, GA). The Hornets record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Red Devils encounter the Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA) in a A Region 1 contest, on Friday, September 28. Randolph-Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The go into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 48-0 league loss to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA).
