February 3, 2011: Ravenna, NE 68869 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE) and the visiting Wood River Eagles (Wood River, NE), saw Ravenna's basketball squad knock off Wood River by a score of 44-26.
With the victory, Ravenna improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Loup City (Loup City, NE) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 4. The Red Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Loup City won 57-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Gibbon (Gibbon, NE)
Next up, the Eagles battle the Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Wood River will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 51-41 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, NE).
