Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lake Norman upgrades its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 3. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 25-1. Ardrey Kell won 63-60 in their recent non-league bout against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
