New Hampshire High School Basketball - Thayer Academy knocked off by Phillips Exeter Academy
February 24, 2010: Exeter, NH 03833 In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Phillips Exeter Academy Lions basketball squad scored a nice 72-56 victory over the Thayer Academy Tigers.
With the victory, Phillips Exeter Academy improves its record to 3-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Andover (Andover, MA) to play the Golden Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 27. The Golden Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Andover won 70-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Brookline (Brookline, MA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Rivers Red Wings (Weston, MA) in a Independent School challenge, on Friday, February 26. Thayer Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Red Wings come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 51-48 league win over Groton School (Groton, MA).
