The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Holmes Bulldogs to 48 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Jaguars now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newport Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 7.

The Bulldogs (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY). The Thorobreds enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Harrison County was routed by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 80-35, in a non-league contest.
