The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Leominster Blue Devils to 14 in the Mountaineers league victory on Friday.

The Mountaineers now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Algonquin Regional for a Division 1A battle on Friday, October 22. Wachusett Regional will play a Tomahawks squad coming off a 35-20 league loss to Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA). The Tomahawks record now stands at 0-6.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA) in a Division 1A battle, on Saturday, October 23. Leominster will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record.
