Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hamlin Pied Pipers (Hamlin, TX), 42-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Haskell upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Indians host Newcastle (Newcastle, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Pied Pipers play the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Hamlin will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
