North Carolina High School Basketball - Concord tops Carson

February 3, 2015: Concord, NC 28025

Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), 66-49 in a league bout.

With the victory, Concord upgrades its record to 15-7 on the campaign. The Spiders travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, February 6. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 11-8. West Rowan won 64-44 in their recent league bout against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont bout, on Friday, February 6. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-16 record after their 68-57 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).
