The Monterey Trail Mustangs volleyball team (Elk Grove, CA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA)

The Patriots (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Bullard (Fresno, CA). The Knights come into the County/Metro challenge with a 9-7 record.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Jesuit Marauders (Carmichael, CA) in a Delta River challenge, on Wednesday, April 22. Monterey Trail will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Marauders come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA).
