Game Summary
The League leading Millikan Rams paid a visit to host Compton on Friday and pounded the 'Babes' 20-1. Even though the Rams belted out 28 hits in the massacre, it was four errors in the first inning, including two by third baseman Zan Thomas that opened up the flood gates for an 11 run inning. Compton now has committed an astounding 28 errors in only 6 league games and that has contributed to a high pitch count to a pitching staff that is not very deep. Considering that the Babes are in a severe batting slump, any major lead in a game becomes a serious problem to overcome. The Babes were led by the hitting of Devante Guidry who collected a single and a double and score the Babes lone run on a single by Vincent Guerra. Next up for the Compton is a non-conference road game against the Lynwood Knights on Monday.
