In Friday's league outing, the Northeast Guilford Rams (McLeansville, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC), by a margin of 63-50.

The Rams (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC). The Blue Comets go into the 3A Mid-Piedmont outing with a 20-2 record. In their last outing, Asheboro topped Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 64-38, in a league outing.
