Virginia High School Volleyball - New Covenant crushed by Westover Christian Academy
October 6, 2011: Danville, VA 24541 The Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs topped the visiting New Covenant volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 17-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Cross Regional for a non-league test on Friday, October 7. Westover Christian Academy will confront a team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carlisle (Martinsville, VA). The record now stands at 8-8.
The (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Virginia Episcopal (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops enter the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Virginia Episcopal gained a win over Temple Christian (Madison Heights, VA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The bulldogs were led by senior captain Brelynn Shipton who was back in action for the first time since an ankle injury put her on the sidelines for 3 weeks.
