Elgin Wildcats (Elgin, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lee Volunteers (San Antonio, TX), 8-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elgin upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Second Baptist (Houston, TX) to battle the Fighting Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, February 26. The Fighting Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-0. Second Baptist won 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Lee (San Antonio, TX)

The Volunteers (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Marble Falls (Marble Falls, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Marble Falls by Westlake (Austin, TX), 4-2, in a non-league game.
