Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy overwhelms Spaulding
February 19, 2019: Barre, VT 05641 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) and the host Spaulding Crimson Tide (Barre, VT), saw St. Johnsbury Academy's basketball squad wallop Spaulding by a tally of 65-37.
With the victory, St. Johnsbury Academy improves its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to confront the Bobwhites in a Metro challenge on Friday, February 22. The Bobwhites come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Bellows Free Academy lost 38-28 in their recent league challenge against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT)
Next up, the Crimson Tide confront the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 22. Spaulding will attempt to improve on its 2-18 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 58-52 non-league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT).
