Ocean Springs Greyhounds (Ocean Springs, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS), 57-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ocean Springs upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Biloxi (Biloxi, MS) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Biloxi won 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Pascagoula (Pascagoula, MS)

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. West Harrison will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 43-37 league win over Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS).
