The Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) basketball felled the host Edinburg Bobcats (Edinburg, TX), 70-62 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their test against United (Laredo, TX). The Longhorns go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.

The Bobcats now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Terry for a non-league test on Saturday, November 26. Edinburg will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 71-67 non-league loss to United South (Laredo, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 2-2.
