Louisiana High School Basketball - Jesuit nips St. Paul
January 8, 2012: New Orleans, LA 70119 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Jesuit Bluejays (New Orleans, LA) and the visiting St. Paul Wolves (Covington, LA), saw Jesuit's basketball squad hold off St. Paul by a score of 46-42.
With the victory, Jesuit improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to battle the Owls in a 5A District 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 10-11.
Next up, the Wolves battle the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. St. Paul will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 8-11 record after their 59-52 league win over Mandeville (Mandeville, LA).
