Illinois High School Basketball - Moline trounces LaSalle-Peru
December 29, 2010: Moline, IL 61265 The Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) basketball crushed the visiting LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL), 45-23 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Maroons (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Golden Warriors go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record.
The Cavaliers now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Geneseo for a NCIC - Northeast test on Thursday, January 6. LaSalle-Peru will clash with a Maple Leafs squad coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Central (Burlington, IL). The Maple Leafs record now stands at 5-7.
