The Independence Patriots tipped the host Olympic Trojans basketball team by a final score of 59-52 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 3. Independence will attempt to move on its 29-1 season record. The Ravens enter the game with a 23-6 record after their 68-65 non-league win over David W. Butler (Matthews, NC).

With the defeat, Olympic moves to 22-5 on the year.
