Georgia High School Lacrosse - Lassiter overwhelms Woodstock
February 26, 2011: Marietta, GA 30066 The Lassiter Trojans triumphed over the visiting Woodstock Wolverines lacrosse squad by a score of 17-9 in Saturday's league bout.
With the triumph, Lassiter upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA) to face the Mustangs in a AAAAA Area 2 battle on Thursday, March 3. The Mustangs come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Kennesaw Mountain won 13-7 in their recent non-league battle against Whitefield Academy (Mableton, GA)
In their next game, the Wolverines face the Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 1. Woodstock will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA).
