Michigan High School Basketball - Bronson knocked off by Springport

The Springport Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Bronson Vikings to 40 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a Big 8 contest on Friday, January 11. Springport will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 64-58 league loss to Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-5.

The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Schoolcraft (Schoolcraft, MI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Schoolcraft ran past Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI), 53-38, in a league contest.
