Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Merced Bears (Merced, CA) and the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA), saw Merced's basketball team get by Woodcreek by a score of 75-74.

The Bears now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Inglewood for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 26. Merced will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 66-64 non-league loss to Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Sentinels record now stands at 2-3.

The Timberwolves (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Bainbridge edged O'Dea (Seattle, WA), 62-49, in a non-league battle.
