California High School Baseball - Knight loses to Eastside
May 9, 2012: Palmdale, CA 93552 In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Eastside Lions baseball squad scored a close 11-4 triumph over the Knight Hawks.

Game Summary
The Eastside Lions behind the arm of Andrew Potter played a flawless game and every player in the starting line-up had at least one hit. The Lion players knew they had a chance to clinch sole position of 3rd place and continue their record breaking year with regards to the best overall winnining percentage and most league wins EHS has ever had since they started Varsity league play in 2007-2008.
The team showed it was up to the challenge and showed themselves that success does come to those that are willing to meet the challenge head on. Brando Alpeza reached base safely all four times, Andrew Potter reached base safely all four times, Jon Timms had two hits and Jason Potter had two hits all leading to the Lions best offensive production of the year for their ace pitcher Andrew Potter.
Pete Knight did show that they had some offensive punch themselves as they scored 4 earned runs against a pitcher who came into the game with an E.R.A of under 1.5.
