Ingomar Falcons (New Albany, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS), 74-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ingomar upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Falcons travel to West Union (Myrtle, MS) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-6. West Union won 59-56 in their recent non-league bout against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS)

Next up, the Vikings encounter the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. North Pontotoc will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 93-62 league loss to Corinth (Corinth, MS).
