January 9, 2012: Torrance, CA 90510 The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Pacific Lutheran Stingrays (Torrance, CA) and the visiting St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA), saw Pacific Lutheran's soccer squad get by St. Monica by a margin of 1-0.
The Stingrays now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Los Angeles Adventist for a Mulholland test on Thursday, January 12. Pacific Lutheran will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Pilgrim (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, St. Monica falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Mariners host St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA) to play the Vikings in a Camino Real outing on Wednesday, January 11. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 2-4. St. Bernard 3-3 in their recent non-league outing against St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA)
