The Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA) football defeated the visiting Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA), 39-31 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Rough Riders face the Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA) in a Colonial bout, on Friday, September 9. Catasauqua will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Green Knights enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 42-7 league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA).

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Slaters enter the Colonial bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Bangor lost by Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA), 49-15, in a league bout.
