Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) and the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), saw Valley Vista's baseball squad knock off Ironwood by a count of 12-5.

Coming up next, the Monsoon play the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 1. Valley Vista will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 3-3 record after their 16-5 non-league loss to Kellis (Glendale, AZ).
