California High School Baseball - Granada holds off Deer Valley
April 14, 2018: Livermore, CA 94550 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) and the visiting Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA), saw Granada's baseball squad knock off Deer Valley by a count of 4-0.
Coming up next, the Matadors play the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 18. Granada will attempt to move on its 8-3 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 9-8 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, CA).
The Wolverines now possess a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Antioch for a battle on Tuesday, April 17. Deer Valley will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
