Mississippi High School Football - Ripley overwhelms East Union

September 14, 2012: Ripley, MS 38663

The crowd at Friday's non-league match between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) and the visiting East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS), witnessed Ripley's football squad crush East Union by a margin of 49-6.

In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Eupora Eagles (Eupora, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 21. Ripley will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 27-6 non-league loss to Calhoun City (Calhoun City, MS).

The Urchins (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Strayhorn (Sarah, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Strayhorn routed Tunica Academy (Tunica, MS), 33-6, in a non-league match.
