Nebraska High School Basketball - Waukee can't hold off Omaha South
December 20, 2014: Omaha, NE 68107 The Omaha South Packers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Waukee Warriors to 52 in the Packers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Packers now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bryan for a A District TBD contest on Monday, December 22. Omaha South will battle a Bears team coming off a 44-42 league loss to North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bears record now stands at 0-4.
The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ames (Ames, IA). The Little Cyclones come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Ames edged Mason City (Mason City, IA), 47-40, in a league contest.
