Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA) and the visiting Briar Woods Falcons (Ashburn, VA), saw Broad Run's basketball squad knock off Briar Woods by a score of 56-46.

With the victory, Broad Run improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Freedom (South Riding, VA) to battle the Eagles in a AAA Cedar Run challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Freedom lost 60-30 in their recent league challenge against Battlefield (Haymarket, VA)

Next up, the Falcons battle the Loudoun County Raiders (Leesburg, VA) in a AA Dulles challenge, on Friday, February 3. Briar Woods will attempt to improve on its 15-4 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 51-47 league win over Park View (Sterling, VA).
