Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), 75-73 in a league bout.

With the victory, Frisco upgrades its record to 18-9 on the campaign. The Raccoons host Liberty (Frisco, TX) to play the Redhawks in a 4A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Redhawks come into the bout with a record of 6-14. Liberty lost 75-50 in their recent league bout against Wakeland (Frisco, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) in a 4A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Creekview will attempt to upgrade on its 19-12 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 66-65 league loss to Centennial (Frisco, TX).
