The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 52 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 11-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a 5A District 5 contest on Thursday, February 16. Valley will meet a Hornets team coming off a 51-50 league win over Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 10-15.

The Ravens (8-17) will now prepare for their contest against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs enter the 5A District 5 contest with a 20-3 record. In their last contest, Albuquerque nudged West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM), 65-54, in a league contest.
