Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 76-69 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ridge Point upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 13. The Buffalos come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Fort Bend Marshall won 71-45 in their recent non-league bout against Stratford (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Benjamin Davis Falcons (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 13. Summer Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 60-53 non-league loss to Seven Lakes (Katy, TX).
