Game Summary
Another slow start for us, although we were in control of the tempo. I'm not sure why, but we seem to really struggle to play the right way from the start of games. Once again for most of the first half, first touches were frequently missed, passes were off target, and plays were rushed when time and space were available. And again in the second half, we really settled into a simpler game. Our 4th goal (1st of the second half) was evidence of the change in mentality. We connected a couple nice passes through the midfield, got the ball out to the right wing and into the corner, and made a great cross into the penalty area that Jasmine Adams collected and finished unmarked. I feel we're capable of that sort of play frequently, but we don't take advantage of our skill level often enough. We'll keep looking to improve!
