Georgia High School Basketball - River Ridge overwhelmed by Hillgrove
January 17, 2015: Powder Springs, GA 30127 The River Ridge Knights basketball team (Woodstock, GA), was overwhelmed 58-24 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA)
The Hawks now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrison for a AAAAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 20. Hillgrove will confront a Hoyas team coming off a 61-52 non-league loss to Carrollton (Carrollton, GA). The Hoyas record now stands at 8-10.
The Knights (2-19) will now prepare for their battle against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs come into the AAAAA Region 7A battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Sequoyah was overwhelmed by Dalton (Dalton, GA), 86-69, in a league battle.
