September 23, 2008: Concordia, KS 66901 The Manhattan Indians volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Concordia Panthers to 1 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now have a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee Mission Northwest for a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. Manhattan will confront a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 league win over Leavenworth (Leavenworth, KS). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their game against Wamego (Wamego, KS). The Red Raiders enter the North Central Kansas game with a 12-9 record. In their last game, Wamego held off Holton (Holton, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
