Game Summary
Junior shortstop Mackenzie Boesel led the Orange Lutheran Lancers to a 16 hit, 9-1 win over El Dorado in the opening round of the Brea Olinda tournament on Saturday morning. Boesel was 4 for 4 with 4 RBI’s including a double and a triple with 2 runs scored in the mercy rule victory. Sophomore Maddy Dwyer earned her first win of the season with a complete game 3 hitter while going 2 for 3 at the plate. Senior Adri Millan was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and junior Taylor Whitney was also 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and 2 runs scored. The Lancers will face Los Altos in the second round of the tournament on Tuesday at 3 pm at Orange Lutheran.
