Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) and the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), saw Griswold's basketball squad hold off Tri-Center by a score of 48-46.

With the victory, Griswold improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bedford (Bedford, IA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Bedford won 36-28 in their recent league challenge against Central Decatur (Leon, IA)

Next up, the Trojans battle the Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA) in a Western Iowa challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Tri-Center will attempt to improve on its 13-4 season record.
